Advancing the domain of Quantum Technologies (QT) from fundamental science to well established technology demands testing complete solutions that span a diverse range of Research & Development (R&D) challenges in quantum sensing and metrology, inertial sensing and global geodesy, cosmology, secure communications and telecommunications, cryptography and device physics.

Modern Physics is currently facing exceptional challenges as the existence of Physics Beyond the Standard Model (BSM) is by now established, which explains the intense scientific effort performed towards merging Nature’s fundamental forces within a unified field theory (also called the Theory of Everything – TOE). Until such moment this remains an elusive goal. Scientists pursue to discover whether there exists a quantum theory of gravity whose classical approximation would be Einstein’s theory of General Relativity (GR).
Late experiments and remarkable progress in quantum engineering and manipulation of individual quantum systems indicate that ultraprecise optical atomic clocks are an excellent tool to search for Physics BSM .
